Chinese New Year Dinner

i was trying very hard to upload all the pics of the yummy dishes cooked by Carole for chinese new year

but the pics keep on rotating when i uploaded it

i guess blogspot juz want to ANTI me

so i decided to give up

i m kinda lazy to talk about my milan trip
so let the pics tell the stories..

but before that...
To be honest
the first impression of Milan to me was that : Milan is such a kampung
me and jamie was kinda shocked when we looked down from the airplane's window
seeing all those kampung house below
milan is suppose to full with BIG buildings right?!
and when we reached our hotel
some unexpected event happened
we actually terbooked one extra room
but the hotel wouldnt refund the money
after fighting for our rights for about 2 hours
we got no choice but to take the extra room *wtfish*

but other than that
my milan trip was kinda awesome
i enjoyed it so so much
so let's see what i did in milan (the so called the world leading Fashion city )^^:






-> been to Castello Sforzesco

-> went to Galleria V.Emanuele

-> went to beautiful Duomo

-> ate the best pizza ever

-> stepped on the famous cow's XXXXX in Galleria V.Emanuele

-> ate the wonderful pastries

-> drink the famous Lemoncino

-> and drunk =="

-> enjoyed the yummy pure Heineken beer during dinner

-> ate Gelato(ice-cream) for three days

-> visited San Siro (even though i know NOTHING about football or AC Milan)

-> playing in the snow(?)

-> jumping in front of the castelo

-> went to a stupid shop which costs my friend 5Euro (=RM25) for a COKE, but the food was really nice...honestly

-> posing in front of Leornardo Da Vinci

-> ate the MUST-eat Luici(?)

-> saw Ferrari !!!!

-> bought the cute souvenir for myself (even though it is unrelated to Milan at all ==")

-> enjoyed my wonderful time with all my friends ^^

so this is my milan trip

i actually sleep and eat most of the time during the trip

because it was supposed to be a super relaxing trip^^

anyway

i still prefer Paris over Milan

but Duomo is definitely worth visiting

that's all

i m super hungry now

cant wait for Carole's dinner tonight ^^

oh btw

i get my first sem results yesterday

urmmm...i m quite satisfy with it

but i think i could do better

gonna work harder this sem

My heater is not working for few days already
and this is a super big deal for Me
because i cant stand cold *i m serious*

So the maintenance Ah pui (his nickname given by me n my baby) came early in the morning today
to repair our heater
after one whole day of repairing

i received an offline message yesterday morning when i sign in my msn
its from carole
saying that she is preparing dinner for us
what will she cook is a secret and it is COMPULSORY for me to go
well...what can i do when she already command me to go?
haha...no harm goin also ^^

so me-baby-pchi went groceries shopping with our chef and become her slave
then we went back to carole's kitchen to prepare food

i seriously was shock when i found out that carole is cooking nasi lemak for us
and was really EXCITED !!!
coz i just told my baby the other day that we should buy some curry to cook

it seems like i have to open a corner as 'carole's secret recipe'

so that i can introduce what she cook for us

i am so so so so lucky to be her friend

Birmingham-Liverpool-Manchester trip

so...after touring around Europe
me, my agent and pchi decided to tour around UK
so we went to Birmingham for 3D2N, then Liverpool 3D2N and Manchester for another 3D2N
i name it BLM eat eat play play tour
coz our main purpose is to eat all the yummy foods in BLM which cant be found in Oxford
and also visit my friends in BLM

First stop: Birmingham



this is my second time to Birmingham
i really like Birmingham
not bcoz of the super big shopping(part of the reason also lar)
but the food there
especially Malaysian Cuisine

nasi lemak !!!!!!!! after so long~~~~~~

tau-fu-fa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thai fried rice or something..this was very nice!!!!

and then we went for dim-sum in the morning
with carole's friend --- sarah

and of course went shopping with Shirley

(and also Mikey, soo leng and others birmingham friends who are not in the picture)

Second stop: Liverpool

and of course

my very main purpose to Liverpool was to meet my bestie

Mr Orang Gergasi and my bao bei

never see mr orang gergasi for ages

even though we are in the same country =="

bcoz he refuse to come to oxford

so i have to go liverpool *sigh*

so we went to karaoke in Liverpool ( that is a MUST)

and walk around the city, went shopping in cheshire oaks .....

Third stop: Manchester

we had japanese food in manchester !!!!!!

OMG sushi!!

and bento with sashimi !!!

and also thai food

lastly

honestly

i seriously love manchester !!

too many good food to eat

and more importantly

the price are reasonable

we also had dim sum in manchester

but i was busy eating so nv take any pics....haha

we also went shopping in manchester

even though it was quite hectic to travel around in such a short time

i am really really happy to see all of my friends in BLM

especially my three bestie

i am sorry to give so much trouble to u all during my visit

and really really thankful for all the free tour-guide and accommodation provided by you all

even though u all are busy with your coursework and exams

honestly

i really am a very lucky girl to have such a good friends like you all

and i will definitely disturb u all again next time

when u all are free from coursework n exams *haha*

lastly
